My Health & Coaching Journey

Coaching is in my DNA – as a leader throughout my 17 year corporate career and a facilitator helping people in midlife seeking fulfillment as they navigate life’s transitions.  But even as a high-level gymnast and Division 1 diver in my youth, I have always been a natural leader, inspiring others to realize their individual greatness.  I live and lead authentically, build collaborative relationships, and instill confidence in others. I strongly desire the best for those around me, helping them cultivate and achieve ambitious goals.

How I Got Here

Being Type A, which isn’t inherently bad, is also in my DNA.  Left unchecked for too long, these tendencies, in combination with perfectionism and the pursuit of the Western world’s definition of success, left my body in a state of overwhelm, stress, and anxiety.

By my late 30s, I might have looked like the epitome of health, but my body had been giving me signals of dis-ease for years.  While I considered myself to be healthy and living a healthy lifestyle and had always been passionate about and committed to health and wellness, I totally ignored the fact that my stress levels were compounding.  I was working at a health related start up, and ironically, taking care of myself holistically was low on my list of priorities.

My journey to living a balanced lifestyle began when my body’s voice was too loud to continue ignoring.  That nagging yet loving voice, my intuition, and study led me to many tools, strategies, resources, and practices that I draw on in my own healing and in my advising.

Unfortunately, there is no one size fits all and healing - physical, emotional, mental - is not linear or easy.  My mission is to help you embrace your healing path and create the conditions in your body and life that allow you to feel more vital, healthy, connected, fulfilled, and free.  Let’s design your balanced lifestyle together.

More About Me

After graduating from Stanford University, I began my career as a chemical engineer, honing skills in innovation at Procter & Gamble. Over a decade, I developed not only strategies and products for several billion dollar brands but also profound coaching proficiency.

I received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and transitioned to Benefit Cosmetics and later Ro, where I led product marketing and innovation, contributing to their steady growth.

I've always felt a calling towards healing and self-discovery. I began meditating during university, followed by the study and practice of Ashtanga yoga in 2009, receiving my 200 hour teacher certification.

The culmination of my life's journey serendipitously led me to MEA, the Modern Elder Academy, where I became a facilitator, collaborating with subject matter experts to help guide individuals through life transitions and foster greater fulfillment.

I am committed to holistic health and healing and dedicated to supporting others in identifying limiting beliefs, exploring new perspectives, and achieving balance and vitality across physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional dimensions.
